The 2018 NCAA Tournament has been crazy so far. Two No. 1 seeds are already out. One of them went out in a loss to a No. 16 seed.

Another aspect of the tournament has been crazy, too - well, it's been driving people crazy.

It's the Northwestern Mutual commercial where the dad builds a pool for his "annoying" teenage daughter.

Here's the full commercial. It's been out for a couple of months.

Some of the complaints about the commercial:

"Commercial with the dad who rewards his insufferable teen daughter with a pool makes me irrationally angry."

"Least plausible scenario in TV ad in March Madness."

"Hey Dad... Tell your deadbeat kid to hoof it to Jessica’s house and do not drop $30G from your 401k into a pool that won’t help your house value."

I see no lies there.
