Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan football team rebounded from a tough Week 1 loss to Notre Dame with a dominant Week 2 performance.

The Wolverines, led by some encouraging strong play from quarterback Shea Patterson, 49-3, at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich. on Saturday.

Michigan improved to 1-1 on the season. The Wolverines are now ranked No. 20 in the latest AP Poll.

Still, Harbaugh remains somewhat of a punching bag for much of the college football fan base.

A pretty embarrassing (albeit trivial) new Jim Harbaugh stat has been making the rounds on social media.

Welp, it's true.

Herm Edwards' Arizona State team upset No. 15 Michigan State at home on Saturday night. Harbaugh's Wolverines have beaten the rival Spartans just once during his tenure.

Maybe that'll change this year, though.
