Tiger Woods British Open update: after a huge day three, he will be in the hunt for his first major championship since 2008 tomorrow.

Woods entered the day at even par. Through 14 holes on Saturday, he found himself tied for the lead. It didn't last, but Woods' day was still an unmitigated success.

He finished at -5 for the day, and is tied for sixth place overall, and four shots off the lead.

Jordan Spieth, who was six-under par for the day, headlines a group tied at the top. Xander Schauffele and Kevin Kisner are tied with him.

Heading into Sunday, Tiger Woods British Open odds are at +1400 to win the tournament.

For the non-bettors, that means that a bet of $100 on Tiger Woods would yield a $1400 payout, if he wins.

That translates to roughly a 6.67-percent chance for Tiger to win his 15th career major.

Jordan Spieth is at +200 to finish off the tournament, and take home his second straight Open Championship. More odds, via My Bookie:
