Fans Are Freaking Out About What Tiger's Doing Today

Tiger Woods smiles after drilling a put.

Tiger Woods might truly be back. The 14-time Major champion is on his way to being in serious contention at the final round of the British Open. He's a couple of holes into his round and things are looking very, very good.

Woods, 42, has already birdied twice so far today. Most golf analysts did not expect any player to have more than a couple of birdies during the final round. It's extremely windy out there this afternoon.

This doesn't appear to have bothered Woods yet.

Woods, who's through six holes, is now just one shot back of the two leaders, which include Jordan Spieth.

His birdie putt at Hole No. 6 got him to within one shot of the leaders.

Woods has 12 holes to go to make some magic and add to his major championship count. He certainly appears to have that in him so far today.

The final round of the 2018 British Open is being televised on NBC.
