Tiger Woods is coming off of his first PGA Tour win in more than five years, as the 42-year-old golfer took home the Tour Championship on Sunday afternoon, and he now heads into the 2018 Ryder Cup with quite a bit of momentum.

Americans are certainly amped to see what Woods can do for Team USA in Paris, France over the weekend.

They're not the only ones who appear to be excited, though.

While a couple of the members of Team USA got booed heavily during some pre-ceremony introductions today, Woods received a raucous reception.

"Go figure, Tiger Woods gets the biggest applause when the team is announced. Raucous “Tiger, Tiger, Tiger….” chants. Love it," Tiger Tracker tweeted.

You can watch the reaction below:

That is pretty awesome.

The 2018 Ryder Cup begins early Friday morning. Woods is expected to be partnered with Patrick Reed on Friday.
