Tiger Woods did not capitalize on birdie chances this past weekend at the Dell Technologies Championship in Boston. The 14-time major champion was so frustrated with his play that he didn't speak to the media after his final round. Reporters covering Woods couldn't remember the last time that happened.

Woods is back on the course today. He's playing in another leg of the FedEx Cup. This weekend's tournament is the BMW Championship in Pennsylvania.

It's going much, much better so far.

Woods is off to a ridiculous start. He's birdied three of his first four holes. A couple of those birdies have come thanks to the type of lengthy putts he wasn't sinking last weekend.

"Three birdies in four holes for Tiger, made a 10-footer at the 13th," ESPN's Bob Harig tweeted.

Tiger Tracker is excited, too. "Holy hell another birdie. Now -3 thru 4. I am FULLY engaged," Tiger Tracker tweeted.

Tiger Woods only made two putts longer than 15 feet during last weekend's tournament. His birdie on the first hole today was almost 20 feet.

It's certainly been a good week for Tiger so far.

Earlier this week, Woods was named a captain's pick for this fall's Ryder Cup. TV coverage for today's tournament starts at 2 p.m. on the Golf Channel.
