We’re two rounds into one of the biggest non-major golf tournaments of the year. The world’s best golfers too aim at the Players’ Championship for the second-consecutive day.
The featured group of the day was Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler. Here’s how Woods played.
He struggled to get much going in his first round, finishing with an even-par 72 after bogeying his final hole. Those struggles continued on Friday morning as Tiger found himself staring at the cut line.
The 42-year-old golfer finished with a 1-under 71 on the day. The cut line currently sits at 1-under, so Woods is likely to make the weekend despite a disappointing first two rounds.
Tiger is among 79 players currently inside cutline at -1 or better.

Tiger will now have to sit and wait to find out if he’ll be playing golf tomorrow or if he’ll have the day off.
Mickelson and Fowler both missed the cut. Rickie posted devastating back-to-back double-bogeys to go from three-under to one-over.
We’ll keep you updated on the latest Tiger news.
