Tiger Woods was almost all the way back today. The 14-time major champion came extremely close to winning major championship No. 15 at the PGA Championship.

Alas, he's probably going to come up a little bit short.

Woods, 42, began the day four strokes back of the leader, Brooks Koepka, and at one point on the back nine, was just one stroke back.

Save for his unreliable driver, Woods was playing as good of golf as anyone can ask for. He was throwing darts at the greens, making putts and chipping with ease.

Unfortunately, some mishaps with his driver likely caused him to suffer just a little bit too much to come away with a win.

Woods wraps up his four-round PGA Championship with a final score of 14-under par. He'll likely finish a couple of strokes back of Brooks Koepka.

Tiger Tracker wrapped it up well. "Bravo Tiger Woods, bravo. What a ride this has been. Crowds going absolutely nuts. Just bonkers out here. Mayhem. Madness. Awesome. Just a great, great day."

Well done, indeed.

Woods will have some more big-time golf to come later this summer and fall, but he's going to have to wait until next spring at Augusta, Ga. to go for major No. 15.
