Tiger Woods finished second at this weekend’s PGA Championship. It was his second top-10 finish at a major this year.
It was also Woods’ best finish at a major since finishing second at the 2009 PGA Championship. Tiger hasn’t won a major since 2008, but he’s on the right track.
Coming in second at -14, two shots behind Brooks Koepka, also left Woods with one hell of a consolation prize. He won over $1 million.
It was Woods’ first $1 million prize in over four years.
Tiger wins $1,188,000 for 2nd place PGA Championship finish, his first $1M on-course check in more than four years.

Koepka, meanwhile, took home $1.98 million. The total pot was $11 million.
The next time we’ll see Woods could be at the Ryder Cup. It will be held September 28-30 in France.
Tiger just has to wait and see if he makes the squad.
He looks up to the task, based off his last couple of tournaments.
