Tiger Woods Releases New Statement On Twitter

Tiger Woods released the following statement on Twitter.

Tiger Woods released a personal statement on Twitter today regarding his stay in a "private intensive program" following his DUI arrest.

The star golfer was arrested on Memorial Day Weekend on DUI charges. He blew a .000 on the breathalyzer and attributed the arrest to a bad reaction to medication. Woods had been taking several pain killers following his back surgery.

Woods said on Twitter that he's completed the program and will continue to "tackle this" going forward with the help of doctors, family and friends.

Here's the full statement:

Woods had put out a statement in mid-June saying he was "receiving professional help to manage my medications and the ways that I deal with back pain and a sleep disorder.”

Hopefully Tiger can continue to have success battling his issues moving forward.
