Few things in sports – if anything, really – are more exciting than watching Tiger Woods in contention at a major on a Sunday afternoon. And that’s what the sports world gets to witness today.
Woods, a 14-time major champion, enters the final round of the PGA Championship very much in contention to win it. He’s playing in one of the final groups, set to tee off after 2 p.m. E.T., and he’s just a couple of strokes back.
The 42-year-old golfer is four strokes back of the leader, Brooks Koepka. If not for a couple of missed putts on Saturday, Woods would be playing in the final group.
Woods has arrived at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Mo., a couple of hours before he’s set to tee off.
His pre-round outfit has everyone talking. Of course, Woods is sporting his Sunday Red, but he’s always wearing a backwards hat.
