Tiger Woods is back on the links this weekend. If you're a fan of Tiger, you should be excited about how he's doing.

Participating in the Quicken Loans National in Potomac, Md., Woods has played some of his best golf of the year. On Friday, he shot a 65, which tied for his lowest score of the season.

Tiger has kept up the solid play thus far today. Despite a bogey on 13, Woods is still only four shots off the lead.

He's at -2 for the day thus far and -7 for the weekend. Abraham Ancer and Beau Hossler are currently tied for the lead at -11.

An especially strong front nine is what has carried Woods so far today.

We'll have to see how Woods finishes today. If he fades, it will likely leave him only playing for pride tomorrow.

But if he holds steady or makes another surge, Tiger could make Sunday very interesting.
