Watch: Todd McShay's Top 3 Players For The 2018 NFL Draft

Here are the top three players in the 2018 NFL Draft, per ESPN's Todd McShay.

With the 2017 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, it's already time to look forward to the 2018 draft. While the 2017 draft was as strong as ever, it lacked a true No. 1 quarterback prospect. According to Todd McShay, that won't be the case for the 2018 draft class, as USC's Sam Darnold is the clear favorite to go No. 1 overall—to the Cleveland Browns, of course.

Check it out:

Rounding out the top three are Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen and UCLA signal-caller Josh Rosen. According to McShay they'll go to the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets, respectively.

Here's what McShay had to say about Darnold:

Watching WR JuJu Smith-Schuster in preparation for the 2017 draft, it was hard not to notice Darnold. He has the mental makeup, poise and arm strength you look for in an NFL quarterback.

Obviously, it's still really early, but with quarterback-needy teams likely to end up at the top of the draft board in 2018, we'll likely see a rush for quarterbacks in what McShay is projecting will be a talented QB class.
