Tom Crean has spent the past year being an analyst for ESPN. His stint on television has been received extremely well - nearly everyone in Bristol, Conn. loves him.
He's not likely to be on TV for much longer, though.
Crean has reportedly emerged as a top candidate for the Georgia head coaching vacancy. This is a job he's reportedly expected to take.
CBS Sports' Gary Parrish says that it's expected that Crean will become the Bulldogs' next head coach.
"Georgia turning to Tom Crean should be where Georgia’s coaching search ends. The two sides are expected to meet today. Most believe this is a job Crean values and would take," he writes.
Yahoo! Sports' Pete Thamel first reported that Crean is expected to meet with Georgia today.
Georgia had previously expressed interest in former Ohio State head coach Thad Matta. The former Buckeyes' head coach reportedly removed his name from consideration earlier this week.
If Crean is Georgia's man, this is a process that likely will not take much time to come to a conclusion.
