Tom Crean Reportedly Met With Pittsburgh On Tuesday

ESPN is reporting that former Indiana head coach Tom Crean has emerged as a candidate for the Panthers' job.

Crean, 51, reportedly met with Pitt on Tuesday.

Pittsburgh met with former Indiana head coach Tom Crean on Tuesday, sources told ESPN.

The Panthers parted ways with Kevin Stallings last weekend after just two seasons, and hired Fogler Consulting to help with the search.

Crean was Indiana's head coach for nine seasons. He went 166–135. Crean was fired after an 18-16 season in 2016-17.

Former Ohio State head coach Thad Matta is another former Big Ten head coach who could emerge as a candidate. Matta turned down the Georgia job today.
