Make sure you tune into NBC's coverage of the Winter Olympics tonight.
Make sure you tune into NBC for the Winter Olympics tonight. One event in particular is going to be a must-watch.
Tonight's primetime coverage on NBC will feature the final for the men's halftime. That means we get to see Shaun White going for a gold medal.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist put on an incredible show in the qualifying event. He earned a score of 98.5 and had everyone going crazy. What's in-store for his final performance? Something even crazier, hopefully.
White, 31, is arguably the most-accomplishment winter sports athlete of all-time. He won the gold in the halfpipe at the 2010 and '14 Winter Olympics. He's won 18 medals at the Winter X-Games and holds the all-time record for career X-Games gold medals.
This evening, we get to watch him going for his third Olympic gold. He's the clear favorite, but there is some serious competition.
White will be competing against Australia's Scotty James and Japan's Ayumu Hirano, among others. Those two snowboarders, like White, put on ridiculous shows in the qualifying round. They surely have something even bigger planned for the final.
Tonight's primetime coverage on NBC begins at 8 p.m. E.T. This evening's coverage will also feature figure skating and alpine skiing.
The men's halfpipe final is the major draw, though. Don't miss it.
