One of the top centers in the 2018 class is back on the market. He's announced his decommitment.

Lukas Kisunas, the No. 13 center in the 2018 class, announced on Twitter this morning that he's backing off his commitment from UConn.

The Huskies fired head coach Kevin Ollie at the end of the 2017-18 season. They hired Rhode Island head coach Danny Hurley.

Kisunas said the coaching change made him re-assess his commitment. He's decided to ask for his released.

Here is his full announcement:

Kisunas signed with UConn in November. He chose the Huskies over Illinois, Pittsburgh and Purdue, among other programs.

Maryland was another major program that might have had interest. The Terps didn't offer at the time.

It's unclear where Lukas will look at now. Stay tuned.
