Expectations are high for Clemson freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence. It looks like they're going to continue to rise, too.

The No. 1 overall quarterback recruit in the 2018 class enrolled early. He's been with the program for a couple of months now.

Lawrence has reportedly looked very good at practice. Some believe he's going to seriously compete for the starting job.

Dabo Swinney revealed today that Lawrence recently did something ridiculous at practice.

"Dabo said Trevor Lawrence had a 50 yard TD run. He says he can fly and leave people," reports TigerNet.com.

Lawrence is a 6-foot-6, 208-pound pro-style quarterback. He's apparently got some speed to go with his NFL-ready arm, though.

This is a player that's going to be incredibly fun to watch over the next couple of years (maybe only the next three years...).

Clemson's spring game is set for April 14.
