Tua Tagovailoa's 4-Star Cousin Announces His Commitment

The four-star cousin of Alabama star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has announced his college commitment. He won't be joining Tua on the Crimson Tide.

Faatui Tuitele, a four-star defensive tackle out of Hawaii and a distant cousin of the star Alabama QB, has committed to Washington.

The top 2019 recruit chose the Huskies over Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and USC, among other programs.

Tuitele announced his commitment on Twitter.

"I AM COMMITTED!! WOOF!" he wrote.

The defensive tackle is ranked the No. 42 recruit in the country and the No. 4 player at his position, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Washington's 2019 class is ranked the No. 17 class in the country.
