According to ESPN's Brian Bennett, the Big Ten just announced its preseason list of players to watch. The list includes five players from both the Legends and Leaders division. Players from Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin make up eight of the ten selected.

Ohio State is represented by DE John Simon and QB Braxton Miller. Miller's making the list may surprise some people. Many will argue that Iowa's James Vandenberg should be on the list over Miller. No one will argue about Simon being on it.

Michigan, Wisconsin, and Michigan State all have two players on the list. Michigan is represented by QB Denard Robinson and OT Taylor Lewan. Wisconsin RB Montee Ball was a no-brainer, but the Badgers are also represented by LB Chris Borland. Michigan State has two defensive players on the list: CB Johnny Adams and DE William Gholston.

Purdue's DT Kawann Short rounds out the Leaders division, with do-it-all Nebraska back Rex Burkhead making the list on the Legends side.

The Big Ten does not release a preseason All-Big Ten Team.
