Two-Time Wimbledon Champion Petra Kvitova Attacked In Her Home

A two-time Wimbledon champion was attacked in her home today.

Petra Kvitova, a two-time Wimbledon champion, says she is lucky to be alive following an attack of her home in the Czech Republic.

The 26-year-old suffered a significant injury to her left hand - her playing hand - because of the attack.

Kvitova's publicist reportedly said that it was a "random crime."

"It was a random crime, nobody was going to attack or rob her as Petra Kvitova," Karel Tejkal said.
