Updated Spreads For College Football Playoff Semifinals

One week from tomorrow, we will have the College Football Playoff semifinals. The Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl will host the playoff this year.

Top-ranked Alabama takes on fourth-seeded Oklahoma in one semi, with second-seeded Clemson playing No. 3 Notre Dame in the other. The winners will meet at Levi's Stadium on January 7.

Eight days from game time and the higher-seeded teams are still substantial favorites. Both Alabama and Clemson are giving two touchdowns worth of points to their opponents, according to Vegas.

Here are the latest odds, per OddsShark:

  • Clemson (-13) over Notre Dame
  • Alabama (-14) over Oklahoma

Clemson and Notre Dame will get things started next week with a 4 p.m. ET kickoff at the Cotton Bowl. Alabama and Oklahoma will get underway at 8 p.m. ET in the Orange Bowl.

Both games will be broadcast on ESPN.
