Upset Alert: No. 1 Virginia In A Tight Game vs. No. 16 UMBC

Tipoff between Virginia and UMBC.

This is supposed to be the year for Virginia. The Cavaliers are the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. It's Final Four or bust.

Is it going to happen?

UVA opened its 2018 NCAA Tournament run in Charlotte earlier this evening against No. 16 seed UMBC. The Cavaliers, who are missing their ACC Sixth Man of the Year, do not look very good so far.

At the under-4 mark, Tony Bennett's team was tied, 16-16. Shortly after the timeout, UMBC took the lead.

It's 19-16 with less than 3 minutes to play in the first half.

This is getting serious.

The game is being televised on TNT.

You're probably going to want to tune in for the second half.
