The second NCAA Tournament game of the day is underway in Detroit, Mich. An upset is brewing.

Michigan State, the No. 3 seed in the Midwest Region and one of the most-popular national title picks, is struggling in a major way against No. 11 Syracuse.

The game is close, 25-22, after one half. It's been a brutal contest.

Both teams are shooting terribly from the field. Syracuse, a dreadful offensive team, is at about 40 percent.

Michigan State, meanwhile, is shooting under 30 percent from the field. The Spartans have been awful.

MSU went 5 for 19 from the 3-point line. The Spartans were 8 of 28 from the field.

The winner of this game moves onto the Sweet 16.

They'll take on Duke.

This afternoon's game is on CBS. You'll want to tune in for the second half.
