We're a little more than 12 hours away from the start of the Ryder Cup in Paris, France. The time difference means Friday's rounds will be started really early in the morning.

We've got some pre-Ryder Cup festivities taking place at the course today.

One United States golfer got booed extremely heavily during the introductions. It's not surprising.

Patrick Reed, the 2018 Masters champion, has been a villain for Team Europe at the Ryder Cup before. He got booed heavily today.

"Ryder Cup crowd went absolutely insane when Tiger Woods was just introduced at the opening ceremony. Wouldn’t stop chants of 'Tiger, Tiger' as Furyk tried to continue his remarks. First goosebump moment of Ryder Cup 2018. They also booed the heck out of Patrick Reed. It begins," Chris Long tweeted.

Reed wasn't the only United States golfer who got booed by the European crowd. Bubba Watson got it, too. "Wondered who among the Americans would be booed and could have guessed Reed and Bubba. And Reed got it the most. Makes sense. #RyderCup opening ceremony."

The Ryder Cup will get started early on Friday morning.
