The United States men’s basketball team had quite a time at the aquatic center at the Olympics on Tuesday night.
Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, DeAndre Jordan, DeMarcus Cousins, Klay Thompson and other members of Team USA went to the pool to watch Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky win gold medals.

It turns out that Team USA’s basketball players were not given free tickets to the event. They had to pay their way in like everyone else.
Team USA assistant coach Jim Boeheim told The Dan Patrick Show today that the players paid roughly $750 a ticket to see Phelps and Co. swim.
Jim Boeheim told us the USA hoop players didn’t get free tickets to see Phelps/other race…tickets were about 750 each.

Obviously, they can afford it, so this isn’t something that they should be applauded for or anything. Still, it’s nice to see that they’re willing to shell out their own money to support the rest of Team USA. They witnessed quite a spectacle, too.
The Olympics continue today on NBC.
