The 6-foot-10 center from University School in Florida has been tipped to select Duke with a 76-percent chance according to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball Predictions via expert Evan Daniels.
None of the three teams on Carey’s list have secured a commitment from a top-15 player on 247Sports’ ranking, so securing Carey would undoubtedly be a huge boon for the three powerhouse basketball programs.
Carey has previously visited the aforementioned three schools along with Miami (FL) and Kentucky. Carey’s father, a former first-round NFL Draft pick by the Miami Dolphins, was a member of the Miami Hurricanes’ football team.
