One of ESPN's most-veteran NFL reporters is leaving the network. He's landed a new gig with NFL Media.

Prominent NFL reporter Jim Trotter announced earlier this month that he was leaving the Worldwide Leader. He announced the news on Twitter.

“Today ends my four-year run at ESPN. Thanks to management for allowing me out of my contract and to IMMENSELY talented (and patient) producers who always helped me along. Also major thanks to Bob Ley & Outside The Lines. (Love) the show. I’m excited for the next step in my journey,” he wrote.”

Trotter joined ESPN in 2014. We now know where Trotter is heading. He's going to NFL.com and the NFL Network.

Congrats, Jim.
