Video: Bald Eagle Goes After Canadian MLB Player
A bald eagle went after a Canadian MLB player right before a game between the Mariners and the Twins today. It was quite the scene.
Seattle left-hander James Paxton, a British Columbia, Canada native, had a bald eagle go after him during the national anthem today. The pitcher was actually pretty calm.
Paxton freaked out a little bit, but mostly remained unfazed. The eagle appeared to confuse Paxton for its handler.

Here's a full look at what happened. It's from the MLB:
That probably could have been a lot worse than it was. Good for Paxton for handling it well.
The rest of his day went OK. The left-hander lasted five innings against the Twins. He allowed 2 runs and five hits.
Seattle, though, is losing, 4-2, in the ninth inning. A loss would drop the Mariners to 3-3 on the season.
