Earlier this week, Washington Redskins safety Montae Nicholson found himself in legal trouble. According to multiple reports from earlier in the week, police arrested Nicholson in Loudoun County, Virginia, following an alleged incident.

According to NBC Washington, Nicholson and his girlfriend were arrested early this morning and charged with assault and battery, and drunk in public.

TMZ published video of the alleged incident and it doesn't look good for the Redskins safety. In the video, TMZ alleges Nicholson can be seen wearing a red hoodie.

The man in the red hoodie appears to knock out another man in the video.

Redskins coach Jay Gruden addressed the issue and announced Nicholson has been suspended as a result of the incident.

The Redskins are still alive in the NFC playoff race, though they'll be missing a key piece this weekend as they take on the Tennessee Titans.
