Video: Extremely Brutal Hit During Caps-Penguins

caps penguins hit game 2

We're a little more than a period into Game 2 of the Capitals-Penguins series. Washington has gotten off to a very nice start.

The home team currently leads, 3-0. The Caps need this one badly, as they blew a 2-0 lead at home in Game 1.

We just had a very scary moment in the game, unfortunately. There was a crushing blow to the head when two Capitals players collided with a Penguin.

The Penguins' Brian Dumoulin was hit by Tom Wilson and Alexander Ovechkin. He was down on the ice for a while before eventually leaving the game.

Some are calling for Wilson to be suspended for the hit.

You can watch it below:

Hopefully the blow to the head is not as serious as it looks.

The Capitals are still up, 3-0. There are about 10 minutes left in the second period. The game is on NBC.
