Video: Horrible Call Screws Indiana At The NCAA Baseball Tournament
Indiana baseball's season came to an end on Sunday night. The Hoosiers fell to Texas in a Regional Final contest, 3-2.
The end of the contest was controversial. There was an extremely generous strike three call on a Hoosiers' batter.
This came with the bases loaded and only one out.
"This is inexcusable at little league even. And this is a season-changing moment," writes Matt Clapp.
Watch the call below:
Your final AB of the season ending on a call like that is pretty brutal.
Texas, meanwhile, advances to the Super Regionals, where it will face the winner of the Oxford, Miss. regional.
A berth to the College World Series is on the line. Texas hasn't made the CWS since 2014.
