Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs’ second day is underway. The Cavs appear to be in some serious trouble against the Pacers.
Indiana has raced out to a big lead through 12 minutes. The Pacers are up, 33-14, after one quarter.
The moment of the first quarter might’ve been a moment between LeBron James and Lance Stephenson, who have quite the history.
Stephenson was guarding James in the post. LeBron was backing him down pretty hard, so Lance swiped hard at the ball. He fouled him.
James, though, pretended to get hit in the face. Replays showed pretty clearly that there was no significant contact.

Here’s another look:
The officials actually took 2 minutes to see if this Lebron flop was a flagrant foul.

ESPN analyst Jeff Van Gundy probably had the best reaction to all of this. “Why did he grab his face?”
The second quarter of the game is now underway. LeBron and the Cavs are going to need a sizable comeback to get back in this one. The game is on ABC.
