The Masters will take place this week, as we'll get to see who will be the next golfer to wear the iconic green jacket. It's not highly likely that Phil Mickelson wins this major championship, yet the 48-year-old will have many people on his side.

Over the course of Mickelson's career, the lefty has won three times at Augusta. Although he isn't exactly among the favorites to win this year, he still has one of the larger followings in golf.

While he was warming up this afternoon, Mickelson had a $100 bill hanging out of his pocket. It might seem like a minor detail, but it definitely caught the attention of many fans.

Here is the video that has fans buzzing on social media:

Maybe his winner-takes-all match against Tiger Woods from November has him in the mood for another friendly wager. On the flip side, it could just be a coincidence.

The Masters begins on Thursday at the Augusta National Golf Club. Mickelson will be on the course for his tee time at 1:49 p.m. ET.

Last year, Patrick Reed won the event by narrowly edging out Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth.

The current favorite for the 2019 Masters is Rory McIlroy.
