A 3-year-old boy performed the national anthem at a Syracuse women's basketball game on Monday night. It was awesome.

The boy, Drake Grillo from Auburn (New York), became the youngest Star Spangled Banner singer in Carrier Dome history.

Syracuse posted video of the performance.

Check it out:

Drake learned the words to the song by watching it being performed at various sporting events over the years.

From Syracuse.com:

Grillo’s mother, Chelsea, said Drake loves sports and learned the words to “The Star-Spangled Banner” by watching games on TV about a year ago. This wasn’t his first live audience, though. Drake did the honors before three Auburn Doubledays baseball games last summer.

Well done, Drake.
