On Saturday afternoon, Tiger Woods was back on the course at the Player’s Championship.Woods led a crowded field that teed off from TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Tommy Fleetwood took a Day 1 lead into Friday morning after he carded a 7-under, 65. Woods, meanwhile, sat five shots off the lead when he took the course for his second round after shooting a 2-under 70.
Tiger followed up his first round with a hot start in his second. However, that hot start tuned into a quadruple bogey on No. 17.
He ended the day with a 1-under, 71, placing him at 3-under for the tournament.
Woods was back out on the course Saturday and despite not shooting his best, looked to be having some fun. During his round on Saturday, Woods and playing partner Kevin Na shared a laugh.
Na knocked in a putt and quickly retrieved the ball. Woods mocked Na’s putt after knocking in his own birdie on the hole.
