Video: Nebraska’s Tommy Armstrong, Alonzo Moore Connect On 63-Yard Touchdown

Nebraska's starting quarterback Tommy Armstrong and senior wideout Alonzo Moore connected on a 63-yard touchdown to extend the Huskers' lead to 17 points.

Tommy Armstrong Jr. took a low snap from the shotgun formation, faked a handoff to the tailback and then found Alonzo Moore at midfield on the Nebraska logo. Moore did the rest of the work, sprinting past two Wyoming defenders for the 63-yard touchdown score.

After he crossed the goal line, Moore found the nearest Huskers fan and gave him a a hug. The score extended Nebraska's lead in the game to 17-0.

At halftime, senior quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. and Alonzo Moore have connected on three passes for a total of 109 yards, including the 63-yard pitch-and-catch. Armstrong Jr. has completed 11-of-18 passing for 277 yards with one touchdown and one interception to go along with nine rushes for 10 yards and another score.

The Huskers, who have used a very balanced attack of 15 rushes and 18 passes, take a 17-7 lead into the break over the Wyoming Cowboys.
