Villanova Is Still Having Major Issues Getting To Boston

Villanova's men's basketball team has had some major issues traveling to its East Regional NCAA Tournament site today. Here's the latest.

The Wildcats are supposed to be flying into Massachusetts today. That's not going very smoothly, though.

A major snowstorm has hit the Northeast. This is causing a lot of travel problems.

Among them: Villanova's attempt to get to the airport.

"Villanova team bus having MAJOR trouble due to snow. Trying to get to airport for charter flight. So far NO luck," reports Mark Meany.

Then, the bus got stuck:

The bus ended up getting the team to the airport safely. But, the plane has yet to takeoff.

It's currently grounded and being de-iced. Hopefully they can take off soon.

Villanova and West Virginia are set to tip off at 7:27 p.m. E.T. on Friday. The game will be televised on TBS.
