The Golden State Warriors have received some great news about an hour before tipoff at Game 3 of the 2018 NBA Finals. Andre Iguodala is back.
Iguodala, who missed the first two games of the NBA Finals as he recovered from a leg contusion, is making his return to the lineup tonight.
ESPN's Chris Haynes first reported the news.
"Golden State wing Andre Iguodala will make his return tonight in Game 3 of The Finals against Cleveland, league sources tell ESPN. He’s missed the past six games with a knee injury," he tweeted.
Iguodala was reportedly set to go through warmups tonight before the team made a final decision. It appears that the warmups went well.
The Warriors have officially confirmed the news.
Tipoff at Game 3 is set for 9 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ABC.
