The Warriors Will Reportedly "Explore" Chances Of Signing DeAndre Jordan

The Golden State Warriors are already loaded. The team possesses two of the top six players in the league (Steph and KD), as well as stars like Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

How about adding an All-Star center to the mix? It could happen, as the team will reportedly look into signing DeAndre Jordan.

The 29-year-old Jordan has opted out of his $15 million option for next season with the Los Angeles Clippers. According to the New York Times' Marc Stein, the Warriors will at least put their hat in the ring for Jordan.

As Stein notes, the team in the best position to land Jordan appears to be the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs have created a massive amount of cap space for the center.

If Dallas does get Jordan, it will be like Ahab finally capturing Moby Dick. The Mavs wanted Jordan badly in free agency in 2015, and well, you remember how that turned out.

If we had to bet, Jordan will likely take the big payday, and Dallas will finally have their man. But imagine DeAndre catching lobs from Steph Curry and Kevin Durant?

Wouldn't even be fair.
