Watch: Fenway Park Fans Gave Adam Jones A Standing Ovation Tuesday

Adam Jones received a much different reception at Fenway Park tonight than he did Monday.

On Monday, Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones made headlines when he reported he was the target of racial slurs from Boston Red Sox fans. Jones also said he had peanuts thrown at him.

When the 31-year-old outfielder stepped to the plate in the top of the first tonight, he was greeted with a standing ovation from the Fenway faithful.

Here's some video of it.

A nice gesture of goodwill from Boston fans. It doesn't change what happened, but it is a start.

Also, if something like Monday night happens again at any stadium, not just Fenway, hopefully bystanding fans will be more inclined to step in and put a stop to it.
