Watch: Giancarlo Stanton Smokes 2-Run HR In 1st Yankee At-Bat

Giancarlo Stanton homered in his first Yankees' at-bat.

Giancarlo Stanton is already off to quite a start with the New York Yankees.

The prized slugger, acquired in a December trade with the Miami Marlins, hit a two-run home run off the Blue Jays' J.A. Happ in his first at-bat with his new team.

It took Stanton all of two pitches to hit an absolute missile for his first home run of 2018. He hit 59 last year en route to the NL MVP award.

Check out today's shot below:

Here's the analytics for Stanton's blast. It is the hardest-hit ball to the opposite field in the Statcast era.

That will probably be the first of many home runs for Stanton. Opposing pitchers are going to shudder seeing him and Aaron Judge back-to-back.

The Yankees and Blue Jays are just underway at Rogers Centre.
