What Are The Raptors Going To Do With Kyle Lowry This Summer?

The All-Star point guard could be on the move this summer.

The Toronto Raptors season ended today at the hands of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the form of a series sweep.

Did Kyle Lowry's time in Toronto also come to an end this afternoon?

Maybe.

Lowry, 31, is set to be a free agent this offseason and the three-time NBA All-Star is likely to command a max deal. He had said before the season that he intended to opt-out of his contract and re-sign a big one with Toronto. Whether or not Toronto wants that might be in question now, though.

There are many who believe it's time for Toronto to move on from the Lowry/Derozan pairing, and with the shooting guard already signed to a big deal, that leaves not re-signing the point guard as the only option to do that.

NBA insider Marc Stein says there's rumblings that Lowry will bolt for a Western Conference team this summer.

Of all the NBA storylines to watch this summer, what Toronto does with Lowry is one of the most-intriguing.
