Here’s what Steph Curry probably needs to shoot to make the cut at his Web.com Tour event.
Steph Curry’s first round of professional golf was pretty great.
The two-time NBA MVP shot a four-over 74 in the first round of the Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae, a Web.com Tour event.
Curry called his first round an “amazing” experience and he’s set to play again today.

Currently, the Golden State Warriors’ star sits tied for 142nd in the event, ahead of nine players. What’s he need to do today to make the cut? The projected cut is -1 right now, meaning Curry will likely have to shoot a round in the mid-60s to have a decent chance at making it.
Las Vegas set the over/under for his two rounds at 160, though, so even if he doesn’t make the cut, it’s been an incredible performance.
