White Sox Pitcher Chris Sale Reportedly Cut Up Throwback Jerseys In Protest
Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale, one of the best in baseball, was scratched from his start tonight against the Detroit Tigers. Normally, that wouldn't be huge news. But the reason he didn't take the mound for his team will blow your mind.
According to a number of reports, Sale was upset about having to wear throwback jerseys for the contest, and eventually cut them up during batting practice. Seriously.
