Yankees, Tigers Get Into Benches-Clearing Brawl
The New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers got into a benches-clearing brawl on Thursday afternoon.
The New York Yankees and the Detroit Tigers are currently playing the third game of their series and it looks like tensions have gotten a little too high.
In the sixth inning, Tigers star Miguel Cabrera started jawing with Yankees catcher Austin Romine after a ball was thrown behind him, leading to a square off between the two. After they swung at each other, the benches and bullpens cleared.
Check it out - it's one of the more ridiculous brawls we've seen this year.
Here's another angle - showing the one-on-one battle between Cabrera and Romine.
Four players - including Cabrera and Romine - were ejected in the aftermath. The Tigers currently lead 6-3.
