One of the best wideouts in the NFL is nearing his return to the gridiron. When the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Baltimore Ravens this weekend, they expect A.J. Green to be active and ready to go.
Cincinnati has battled without Green for the first half of the season. He suffered an ankle injury in training camp that forced him to miss roughly three months.
The Bengals have struggled mightily this season as they’re the only winless team in the league.
Fortunately for Cincinnati, help is on the way in the form of an All-Pro wide receiver.
Bengals coach Zac Taylor told the media today that he believes A.J. Green will make his season debut this Sunday.
Green had an extra week to recover since Cincinnati is coming of its bye week.

The return of Green should help open up the offense. It should also give rookie quarterback Ryan Finley a trustworthy target over the middle of the field.
Once the Bengals have Green back on the field, the rest of the receiving corps should find themselves in better situations. Fourth-year wideout Tyler Boyd can return to his role as the second-best option in the passing game.
Trying to upset the Ravens this Sunday is going to be a tough task for the Bengals, but the return of Green could potentially revitalize the team for the second half of the season.
