Zaza Pachulia has been one of the most-controversial players in the NBA in recent seasons, with many around the league feeling that the Golden State Warriors' big man is "dirty."
The 34-year-old Georgia native was at the center of the Kawhi Leonard injury controversy during the 2017 NBA Playoffs. Pachulia closed extremely hard on a Leonard jump shot, leaving no room for the Spurs star to land.
Leonard was re-injured on that play and was forced to miss the rest of the playoffs.
The Pachulia era appears to be over in Golden State, though.
Yahoo! Sports NBA insider Shams Charania is reporting that Pachulia is signing with the Detroit Pistons.
"Warriors free agent Zaza Pachulia has agreed to a one-year, $2.4M deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell Yahoo," he reports.
Pachulia, 34, averaged 5.4 points and 4.7 rebounds a game for the Warriors in 2017-18. He's started 127 games over the last two seasons in Golden State.
