Adrian Peterson won't play the rest of this season.
On Thursday night ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Arizona Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson was head to the Injured Reserve list, ending his 2017 season.
With a season-ending injury designation, many wondered if Adrian Peterson played his last snap in the NFL.
Friday morning Peterson spoke with ESPN's Josina Anderson to address his injury, and the speculations about his future.
Peterson's season has been full of ups and downs after signing with New Orleans in the offseason. He joined a full backfield of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara, an emerging two-headed monster that has led the Saints to the brink of the playoffs.
He later signed with Arizona, where he starred in his first game, rushing for over 130 yards. Despite that early success, Peterson only had one other game above 100 yards.
