Buffalo Bills fans love to party, which is why their tailgate scene is the rowdiest in the NFL. ESPN's Dianna Russini saw this firsthand on Sunday.

Russini is in Buffalo to cover today's AFC East showdown between the Bills and New England Patriots. Both teams are 3-0, and the Bills Mafia has kicked it up a notch for the occasion.

As part of today's pregame coverage, Russini did a live shot from a boisterous and well-lubricated Bills tailgate. During the clip, a long-haired Bills fan in a vintage Jim Kelly jersey presented Russini with a surprise.

The fan got down on a knee in a fake proposal, and when he opened his hands, there was a blue Jello shot. Russini actually picked it up but once she realized what it was, started laughing and put it down.

Russini is fun and personable in addition to being a true pro, so she handled this situation well. Overall, it made for hilarious television. Tailgating fans plying reporters with alcohol is only part of the spectacle in Buffalo today. There's apparently going to be a wedding at halftime.

Now that is loyalty to your team. The only thing that would make this day even better for that couple and the thousands of fans in attendance would be a win over the hated Patriots.

Kickoff for Bills-Pats is set for 2 p.m. ET on CBS.
